If you’re into art, culture, or just looking for a dope experience in Chicago this spring, EXPO CHICAGO 2025 is one you shouldn’t miss.
It’s going down April 24th to 27th at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, and trust me — it’s not your average art fair. This is where the city shows out, bringing in over 170 galleries from 36 countries. You’ll see everything from world-renowned artists to up-and-coming talent that might just blow your mind.
Some highlights worth checking out:
• EXPOSURE: A section dedicated to newer galleries (under 10 years old) featuring solo and two-artist shows. It’s fresh, bold, and always surprising.
• PROFILE: Think big, ambitious installations and thematic exhibits that make you stop and go, “wait, what?” in the best way.
• Editions + Books: For my print lovers — this is where limited editions and beautiful publications live.
• Special Exhibitions: Collabs and showcases from museums and nonprofits doing cool things outside the mainstream.
This year, they’re teaming up with the Galleries Association of Korea, bringing in 20 Korean galleries. It’s backed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (yes, that official), so expect some real heat from Seoul.
Tickets.
Early bird starts at $30, general admission is $40 — and you can grab them directly at expochicago.com.
And if you’re trying to make it more than just a one-day thing, EXPO ART WEEK is running April 21–27, with events, performances, and installations all over the city. Basically, Chicago turns into an art playground for a whole week.
Whether you’re a casual browser, a serious collector, or just want to flex a little culture on the ‘gram, EXPO CHICAGO is it.
See you there.
